An upstart commodities trader was ready to make a mark in the industry. But, to get started on the right foot, a solid brand foundation was needed. That’s where we came in. We worked collaboratively to understand S&G‘s brand vision and brought it to life through a new visual identity.
Trust goes a long way in the commodities industry. And, as a new trader in the market, it was crucial to develop branding for S&G that would help generate trust amongst customers from the get go. Our approach? Craft a brand with an established feel, while focusing on what sets S&G apart—its flexibility as a small business and its ability to solve customer challenges in new and creative ways.
We took a traditional approach to the logo design, crafting a timeless monogram to generate feelings of legitimacy around the brand at first glance. Its execution communicates S&G’s ability to move quickly and make creative connections in the market.
We also designed a set of high-quality branded stationery to help generate trust—including extra thick business cards to complement a firm handshake.
Illustrated graphics for the brand website included a sense of movement and helped communicate S&G’s services in a non-traditional manner.
